21世紀末，時間取代金錢成為貨幣單位，每個人到了25歲後，就不再
變老，但也只能再活一年，若不及補充生理時數，就會立即死亡。
威爾生活在得拼命賺取時間以延續分秒生命的時區，而他的生命即將消
逝...一日，他巧遇並解救了擁有超過100年以上生命時間資產的亨利，
原已厭世的亨利決定把這資產轉給威爾並離世。也因此讓威爾有機會見
識到另一不愁時間流逝的上流時區並結識了舉足輕重的魏斯家族與其獨
生女席薇亞。
但這事件引起時間管理人的注意並展開一連串的追逐。就在威爾即將因
被控殺人而逮捕時，他綁架了席薇亞並展開逃亡。同時，他還不斷的將
時間分給即將面臨死亡的人導致時間系統失控並引來更多追獵者。
一路艱險中，他和席薇亞由對立變成生命共同體，面對未知，他們決定
改變時間，改變世界！

I do admire the concept conveyed by the story, and particularly love such
actualization of the idea of 'Time is money' which is quite creative and
new to me.
It can be seen as the extremism and fascism of the development of capitalism,
which always excuses injustice from 'survival of the fittest'...it may be
so true, but it is really pathetic as well!
Running TIME indicates getting closer to an end of life. This is pretty
similar to the implication of MONEY to people. Coming from the rich or poor
families sometimes does also mean living with the good or bad conditions,
although it is not completely necessary like that, but in general and undeniably,
it is a comprehensible result of statistics.
[Disparity is not diversity], and balance-keeping neither mean standing equally
nor sharing fairly...In some of the very circumstances, especially when it
comes to corrupted governance, bad laws, illegitimate rules and wrongful regime
can be renovated, renewed, or even substituted and eliminated, no matter how
rational a system was created or how steady a system has been maintained.
