趕鴨子上架的泰國之旅, 過程和結果都令人十分滿意
一開始就設定為{極樂之Songkran [สงกรานต์] 之旅}
因此, 大夥兒也完全是按照這項主旨在玩耍: 極致趣味!!!
先介紹一下我的出生地: 曼谷 [Bangkok / กรุงเทพมหานคร]
這座發展相當迅速, shopping malls跟5-star hotels林立的城市
相對位置在昭披耶河的東岸, 靠近暹羅灣
以[天使之城: city of angels]為名, 如同Los Angeles一般
乍看之下, 就是一個以concrete jungle的標準模組所打造而成
(至少, among all the cities in Southeast Asia...)
高聳入天的大樓. 無比密集的人口. 發達的觀光業. 典型的商業大城
傳統與現代化併行, 一切設計都以旅遊方便為主
至於潑水節(宋干節: 每年4月13-16日)則是泰國的新年節慶
在曼谷市裡, Silom區的活動根本是為同志量身打造的
所以每年的這個時候, 都會湧入數以千計的圈內人齊聚一堂
一瞬間, 顯現猶如台北每年十月中旬同志大遊行般的盛況
而這也是今年我們一行人為何會突然慕名而去朝聖的緣故
再來是匆匆一瞥, 行程卻太過充實的: 芭達雅 [Pattaya / พัทยา]
重金打造後的小漁村, 一躍成為世界上著名的觀光據點之一
相對位置屬東部地區春武里府, 暹羅灣東側, 曼谷的東南方
素以湛藍通澈的大海. 白色沙灘和泰國人妖表演而聞名於世
而它的潑水節活動之瘋狂, 聽說更甚於曼谷
(可惜官方行程是從4月19日開始, 咱們無緣觀禮了!)
不過我覺得這個城市已經太商業化了, 其實沒有想像中那麼美
... 此行如何<極樂>乎?!
{1. 住Thai爽}
在BKK時, 我們住在雙人房一晚四千多大洋的[Centara Grand @ Central World]
緊鄰最著名的shopping malls之一, 落地窗望去幾乎是一覽無遺的曼谷全景
而在PAA, 我們住在更貴的[Hilton Pattaya Hotel], 應該不用贅述其華麗
飯店外就是海灘, 陽台看去就是一片蔚藍的海岬和映入眼簾的半壁城市
以上, 光是{住}這個部分, 有可能不過癮嗎!?
{2. 過Thai爽}
因為過年的關係, 所以參觀不到Grand Palace
又因為時間沒拿捏好, 所以連湄南河都沒遊到 (最殘念!)
更因為時間真的太少, 所以自己的官方行程幾乎都沒看到
除了朱拉隆功大學(C/W跟Silom之間)和Sathorn City Tower(為了國際法學會)外
最想一探究竟的United Nations Building(@ Phra Nakorn區), 則來不及去到
不過幸好有晃到S. Sathorn R., 那是有名的使館區(很像DC的Embassy St.)
雖然曼谷的交通實在方便: 計程車便宜. 嘟嘟車機動性高. 摩托車高速
但大部分的時候, 我還是儘量跟著locals搭BTS/MRT或走路
許多該走的市集跟購物城, 其實幾乎都有逛到了(大部分by myself)
緊鄰飯店的CentralWorld跟Central Festival Pattaya Beach不說
為了買新相機, 而特地跑去撿便宜的MBK Center
為了見Thep, 而特地去到Asoke區, 卻也讓我發掘了神奇可愛的Terminal 21
PAA地陪(Ge)帶大家去逛了Pattaya Floating Market, 也是出乎意料之外的
其他都是行程上原本就有安排的了, 包括:
離飯店也不遠的Pratunam Market(水門市場)和熱翻天的Chatuchak假日市集
最棒的是馬來幫主揪在Baiyoke Sky Buffet的大會師聚餐
不僅體驗到旋轉式天台, 也讓我們一口氣就看盡了BKK的夜景
綜上, 雖然過得很爽, 但我在泰國那幾天卻每晚失眠, 真是少見的情況!!!
{3. 玩Thai爽}
除了不可免俗的瘋狂水戰(it is really crazy, I mean it!!!)
其實這趟旅程, 本來就安排了許多各式各樣的主題Party
難免走一遭酒池肉林. 燈紅酒緣的Silom區, 會一會DJ-Station跟G.O.D.
還有一年一度的gCircuit SK Party. Bearbie’s SK Party. 熊熊泳池趴
到了PAA, 我們也有接受Ge的邀請, 到23 Club去玩了一會兒
但事實上, 除了Babylon的泡沫趴外, 我今年其實沒跑趴:
...Joining the foam party, one of the biggest events for SK 2012, and it is surprising
that gay people are so united and coherent to get involved in all the activities altogether
for days. The other idea is that coming here had me see how valuable to have someone
really love you, because there are too much insane temptation out there.
除了這些闇黑行程外, 到了PAA, 其實我們也有一些陽光行程(excluding me)
雖然沒踏到水. 踩到沙, 不過竟然真的去玩了kart racing跟bungee jumping
以上, 還是得向藝高人膽大的同行友人致上最高的敬意!!!
{極樂小結: Always taking notes during INSOMNIA...}
Though this time back to Bangkok , the whole trip is unlike what I expected that would
I spend more time going clubbing and shopping, joining parties, enjoying saunas, or
visiting architectures, I still feel so contented with taking an unforgettable and relaxing
vacation with bunch of good friends that might not happen in the near future, meeting
some old friends and knowing few new friends from overseas., as well as satisfied with
hanging out alone to discover how Bangkok has been impressively and rapidly developing.
As matter of fact, on the other hand, at most of times, I spent time on window shopping
mall by mall, goofing around on foot street by street, getting totally wet day by day, and
meeting friends from overseas one by one. Admittedly and frankly speaking, this trip
thoroughly consists of 'FRIENDSHIP'...if without friends, it wouldn't be so interesting and
colorful like this!!!
Therefore, at last but not the least, I would like again to express much appreciation for
my group members, and special thanks to friends from KL, HK, BKK, and Spain!!! :)
