[Man on the Moon]--by Jim Carrey(...or Andy Kaufman)

Seriously speaking, I don't regard it as a comedy;
in fact, I even cannot take Jim Carrey as a comedian, either.
The story is based on a true story of a great performer.
He played on every spot with his own style,
and I was cheated by him all the time just like the audience.
To drop into tears while the bad news happened,
and can't stop laughing when every joke be discovered.
I always fell into the puzzling atmosphere,
even though I could tell what it'd occure by his damn ideas.
Frankly speaking, I never said "Fuckin'" that many times,
but I did feel myself so so stupid.
Everything is a show, and it did remind me the other movie--
"The Truman Show," which is played by Jim as well.
"Life is just as a drama!"
This line was often flashing into my mind from the beginnig.
I have to praise the true geneus, but too briliant.
All of us are not really fool; however, we are'nt clever enough.
Too many people used to take lives seriously and sensitively;
nonetheless, as far as I'm concerned after the film,
without humor sense, we never lead a real easy way to live.
Then an ironic is there, that's what we do desire.
Great comedians are necessary for us,
if they don't indeed interrupt our routine.
Perhaps we can find anything funny in the world,
but we don't let it be reality on earth.
Just give yourself a break, and take a deep breath.
Let's see what will be definitely encountered to us...^^
To hold a dream in heart is good, to insist to reach it is better;
nevertheless, to fill yourself full ambition is the best.
This is what I get the most from "the man on the moon."

「月亮上的男人」由金凱瑞飾演安迪考夫曼,
50-80年代最具創意、最標新立異像"謎"一般的藝人。
考夫曼善於帶動觀眾的情緒,觀眾的喜怒哀樂全繫於他的表演上。
不管是帶觀眾去喝牛奶吃餅乾,或跟女性比角力,
他創造了一種既獨特又真實的表演方式,
有時連他的好友都分辨不出哪些是真的,哪些是假的。
評論對他的看法不一,有人說他是個懷疑論者,是非正統的禪學信仰者,
也有人認為他是達達主義式的喜劇演員,第一個真正的表演藝術家。
考夫曼卻喜歡把自己定位在"一個唱歌跳舞的人"。
金凱瑞,同樣也是以喜劇表演起家,而後參與情境喜劇的演出,再晉身大螢幕。
他和考夫曼的奮鬥歷程頗為相似,由他詮釋這個角色,是再適合不過了。
考夫曼,這個以模仿貓王起家,而後打破傳統表演方式,自成一家的表演者,
其努力的目標就是能不受限制,將演出發揮到淋漓盡致,給觀眾不同於以往的感受。

狄維托飾演考夫曼的經紀人喬治蕭比洛,拉芙則是飾演琳恩瑪格莉絲,考夫曼的戀人。

1949年生於紐約,考夫曼最初在一些俱樂部裡表演喜劇。
1975年才正式進入演藝圈,在NBC的Saturday Night Live裡演唱。
電視代表作是曾獲艾美獎的情境喜劇「Taxi」,考夫曼飾演討喜的技工Latka
Gravas。
考夫曼於1984年死於肺癌,年僅35歲。
但他的精神仍在,許多喜劇明星像Robin Williams及Jay Leno都深受他的影響。
而92年REM樂團高居排行榜的「月亮上的男人」就是為了紀念考夫曼所作的。
95年的紀念影片「A Comedy Salute to Andy Kaufman」在電視上播映,
也顯示了大家對他無限的追思。
