Eventually it’s about time to leave.

After all these years,

All the struggles, not taking them as suffering

With all the memories,

Mostly sweet, always turning a new leaf.

They are what I am carrying away with me.

Something that I’ve been amazed

Is that I have gained more than I expected.

It’s about time.

It’s time to say goodbye.

It has come to the point that we grow apart,

Where we enjoy each other’s company the most.

It is this moment that the destiny speaks,

Although we have tried very hard against it.

Let’s make it out of eventuality,

With the tightest hugs and the longest kisses.

It’s about time,

To go home without homesick,

To take up a position of excitement and nervousness,

To learn to be a teacher and a proper academic,

To work like a machine, to rest without sleep,

To see what’s alluring, to feel what’s draining,

And most importantly,

To wait for the next time that we meet.

From two thousand fourteen,

To twenty-twenty,

More than six years, more than twenty-four seasons,

The best summertime, the worst wintertime,

The lamest parties, the most interesting conversations,

I’ve had it all, for me to go forward.

And now, it’s about time

To take it a bit further.

Life is tricky; life is good.

I’m glad that everything is worthy,

And I think I deserve it,

To fly away without regrets,

Despite some anxiousness and uncertainty.

Life is strange; life is funny.

But I think I’m ready,

For the next challenge.

After all, it’s about time.

But I know I’ll be fine.

As you’ve always told me,

I’m actually good at it.

With all the love and best wishes,

With all the good and bad memories,

Mixed with both anxiety and tranquillity,

This time I am leaving

For the next time I come to visit.
