因為剛好有幾個朋友問到,關於性/別少數群體健康(不平等)的文獻,既然整理了一下,就順便分享出來吧!
In terms of LGBT health, there is quite much literature from public health study and the sociology of health, but there is not yet an international evidence base. I can provide you the references that I have consulted with. I resorted to systematic reviews concerning LGBT health first, such as:
* BLONDEEL, K., DE VASCONCELOS, S., GARCÍA-MORENO, C., STEPHENSON, R., TEMMERMAN, M. & TOSKIN, I. 2018. Violence motivated by perception of sexual orientation and gender identity: a systematic review. Bulletin of the World Health Organization, 96, 1, 29-41L.
Also, here is an edited book that can be a good source:
* MEYER, I.H. & NORTHRIDGE, M.E. (eds.) The Health of Sexual Minorities: Public Health Perspectives on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Populations. New York: Springer.
Nick Mulé’s work contains a rich policy analysis; Steven Epstein and Tamsin Wilton both offer some critical perspectives regarding the dominant public health discourse. In addition, you may be interested in literature in relation to ‘minority stress’ and LGBT populations – Ilan Meyer is it! For others, you can see:
* LICK, D.J., DURSO, L.E. & JOHNSON, K.L. 2013. Minority Stress and Physical Health Among Sexual Minorities. Perspectives on Psychological Science, 8, 5, 521-548.
* MAYER, K.H., BRADFORD, J.B., MAKADON, H.J., STALL, R., GOLDHAMMER, H. & LANDERS, S. 2008. Sexual and Gender Minority Health: What We Know and What Needs to Be Done. American Journal of Public Health, 98, 6, 989-995.
With little discussion among lawyers, you definitely can’t miss Anand Grover’s annual reports when he sat as the Special Rapporteur on the right to health, between 2008-2014, and also:
* CESCR 2016. General Comment No. 22: The Right to sexual and reproductive health (article 12 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights). E/C.12/GC/22.
