We had a lesson of Taiwan's Medium & Small Enterprise in the morning of Aug 11th. Frankly speaking, I didn't pay much attention to the class. At noon, some Austrians and I went to the Computer room for a while, then Felix and I only had the box of food from the cafeteria for lunch before the meet time at 1:20, in fact, we were going to have a visit for the Medium & Small Enterprises or Companies. We went to two factories of producing the machineries, but most of us couldn't realize them very well.

On the way back to the hotel, the foreign friends decided to treat us (Taiwanese students) to have dinners in a restaurant, named Korea (I think?!) It's a kind of buffet, but with BBQ & soups. All of us should get there by ourselves, and it was a little rainy...

We did talk as much as what we ate. (Ha!!) Because of the deadline was coming on 12th, and we did want to spare the rest time of us. We Taiwanese students played some bad tricks on the Austrians; we told them a lie to persuade them to eat the food they did not like, even felt it disgusting. After the dinner, we made many funny photos, and I taught other Taiwanese students to say "Thank U" in German. It indeed rained heavily, but Barbaras, Edith, Irene, Shu-fen and I decided to have some drinks later.

Though there was a great rainy night then, we still insisted to ride in a storm to the Fashion Cafe. When we arrived, at first, a Taiwanese student told me that Felix was also there to wait for me, but I didn't see anyone, and I was drenched and cold. I even gave a call into his room, but Walther told me he wasn't there. About 10 minutes later, I eventually found him out in a Cyber-Cafe (My Goodness!!). I sat across from Barbara (Wurm); we chatted a lot about lack of resource in Taiwan for a learner to study German, and I cited a example from myself. In addition, she narrated some means for me to improve, and gave me some opinions above studying abroad or exchanging students' program. I do thank her very much; her urges and encouragements did inspire me, cheer me up very much. Therefore, I'm searching for other opportunities to broaden my horizon.

The last day was still coming on Aug 12th, even though we hoped the time could run at low speed...

We had a class of Taiwan's Economical Growth with Policies in the morning as usual, but I was busy in keeping Austrians' contacting ways, so I did not concentrate at all. Nonetheless, we got another free afternoon. And Felix & I had arranged some plans already. After lunch, I rode him to the Electronic St. again; we were searching for something as a gift, but in vain. Then, our schedule was basically planned to play ping-pong in the basement of my dormitory, but unfortunately, we couldn't find the other billiard cue in my apartment (He was the second one to my house), so that we needed to change our program. I decided to take him to the National Art Museum, but the door was shut down already. Nevertheless, we did have fun, because the surroundings there are really beautiful and comfortable; we liked it!! At last, I took him back to the hotel, and he treated me a cup of coffee (he'd treated me for many times...).During the while, he was going to finish his post cards.

What was coming at the last night?! We had a Farewell Banquet in an elegant and high-classed restaurant, and there were so many special dishes. After the dinner, all of the members of the program were awarded the certificates. When my time came, and everybody could sing my song "Bad Boy."(Ha~~) It was very cool. What's more, we were going to give some presents to the others after the formal moment. I wrote some post cards with my great sincerity to tell my buddies that they did bring me a large amount of wonderful memories. By the way, I got a box of genuine Austrian chocolates from Felix, a poster of Tirol from Elisabeth and Diana, another Austrian chocolate from Katrin, two small bottles of fruit alcohol from Christian, a notebook with useful information and a brochure of the pictures of Tirol's winter, and a badge of Austria from Charlie (Karlheinz). They are really very nice to me, and I didn't expect that I could get so many souvenirs; I was indeed flattered...

A short break later, we had an appointment again. We went to tea bar, named Shue-Hu Tale. Due to so many people, so we are separated into two tables, but it doesn't matter any longer. We didn't talk too much sentimental words, and everyone seemed so usual even the last day. But I thought that maybe we just pretended to be brave and tough...However, after all, we had a entirely long time farewell. We could not say goodbye in a short while, in an easy way, and we did give each other big hugs. Matthias made a joke on me about quitting me into tears, but I didn't cry, and I hope myself to be a true man.(Huh~~ although I'm a sentimental guy...) Then everything was going to an end of the Summer School Program after I leave for my apartment...

Even though their schedule in Taichung was finished with a great end, our friendships will be everlasting.

Originally, I didn't expect so much whether I could learn lots of know-how or not; however, I did desire to sharpen my language speaking, whatever English or German, and I made it; all of the foreign friends helped me to reach the goal; in reality, the improvement was much better than my anticipation. I even can bargain the prize, translate the dishes, interpret some displays, and write the whole cards in English with bit German for them. To my surprise, "IMPOSSIBLE is nothing" anymore.

Besides the further step of my language ability, what I really appreciate is that I got so many foreign buddies (not only Austrians, but also Italian guys). In the beginning, I didn't consider us could make good friends from totally different customs and culture in only 9 days; nevertheless, we promised to each other to make sure for keeping in touch in the future.

Originally, I had a program of myself to study abroad in Germany, but sometimes I would be hesitating; however, after this amazing journey with my new buddies, they do push and stimulate me to accomplish my dream, my ideas. Basically, I was taught a lot by them with independence, ambition, and responsibility of my own life, so now I am going to try my best to complete my ideal future with many favors from every corner. Anyway, thanks very much, I did gain plenty of new thinking to add into my normal life from the Summer School Program.
