Wow...eventually I am going to memorize something of the wonderful program I had in last 10 days. And I hope I can finish it entirely, but there's a pity for without any picture (I'm so sorry)

-----------------------------------------------

Mm...I still remember the first day fell on Aug 4th, and the Opening Ceremony was so serious and formal; what's more, when the Austrians arrived, I was shocked by the dressing up of everyone. They did look so gentle and graceful, but I was looked like a child (Shamed on me very much.)

So from the first glance that I was afraid we could not become good friends, however, after all we are buddies now (cool!!)

When I knew my partner was Barbara (Wurm); in fact, I thought she was the kind of serious girl, because she had a long talk with the president of Innsbruck Uni. But of course, she's very nice and easygoing after we had a brief introduction to each other.

In the afternoon, we went to visit the mayor of Taichung city, for me it was my first time as well. The city hall is the kind of Japanese traditional building, and the mayor is really humorous (Huh...)

After that we paid a visit of The Temple of Confucius and the Chung Shang park. Then I found the foreigners do like to take photos, but if one day I went abroad, perhaps I'll be crazier.

And here I want to say something of Felix (my best friend of them). Frankly speaking, I did not like the guy, because he didn't look so glad and open-minded, and he liked to walk alone unlike the others. Nevertheless, he is a real gentleman who I need to learn from. We goofed around everywhere on my motorbike, and we had much fun together. After all, I found he is very nice and interesting, but boring... (Ha!!)

All of us are invited to the Welcoming Dinner, that was indeed an elegant restaurant, and fortunately, I began to talk to Barbara (Unterrainer), Felix and Wilhelm. They did like to ask many questions of all the food, and then dared to try. But it was a good chance for me to know more Austrians and I took the advantage to practice my English and German.(Thx so much to those who praised a lot for my foreign language speaking, although I'd pretended to be not proud, I was totally flattered.)

--------------------------------------------------------------

I slept very well and sound at the first night, because I was exhausted after all, and I got up so early in the second morning (Aug 5th).

To tell the truth, I was always so excited about having meeting with all during the program, even though I was overwhelmed by tight schedule of last day, but I was still very happy for the chances of no matter what of a class or a visit.

In the second morning, we had a cool history lesson in German. And the afternoon is for a class of Leadership. However, the most interesting part is to learn Chinese. My student was Felix, he is smart enough to remember and repeat my pronunciation, but not a diligent one. (Ha!!)

By the way, I brought Charlie to the cafeteria for lunch; it was my first time to chat with the cute and funny man. Every Austrian boy does like to make jokes of him, especially Felix. I'd told him not to do that anymore many times, but after I discovered that Charlie is not an irritated guy and has very good temper, I started to behave as them(It's not good after all, I think...)

After all the classes of the second day, I went back home directly.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

We had almost the same schedule as before on Aug 6th. The class was The History of Taiwan's Development of Economics. But whatever, I didn't pay much attention to the lessons...

There's one special thing is needed to be mentioned. We(some other Taiwanese students and I) brought a group of Austrians to have the noodles with beef soup, and some girls of them did not like it very much, but at least, my buddies--Felix & Charlie did like it.

After the lunch, we went to the Computer room for a while. On the way there, I had a little talk with Elisabeth and Diana. While they knew me can speak a bit of German and desire to keep on learning it, they told me they were going to talk with me in German to push me more chances practicing, but of course, at first, I couldn't understand them very well, so I was sorry for making them repeat sentences for many times.

By the way, there's one thing interesting I missed. We had a class of Chinese Calligraphy, and we did have much fun then. Most of Taiwanese students were asked to help writing (or painting with a brush?!) the Chinese names of those foreign students, or some idioms with significant meanings. Everyone was playing around with great laughs all the time.
