《高潮醫生》（Doctor Climax）
背景設定在 1970 年代末期、1980年代的泰國🇹🇭，當時對性愛問題的討論並不開放。
該劇的靈感來自創作者兼製片人เอกชัย เอื้อครองธรรม提出，將性愛專欄改編為劇集的點子，並以當時真實出版的信件為基礎，反映了當時社會的諸多議題。
導演คงเดช จาตุรันต์รัศมี 表示：「那個時代，國家剛經歷政治動盪，仍處於冷戰的漩渦中，其他重大事件也不斷發生。人們感受到社會規範的約束，但同時又努力尋求突破，追求自由。」

《富都青年》（Abang Adik）
A 2023 Malaysian neo-noir drama film written and directed by Jin Ong in his directorial debut. The film tells the story of a pair of undocumented orphans in Malaysia, Abang (Wu Kang-ren), a deaf person and his indignant younger brother Adik (Jack Tan), who struggle in a poverty-stricken and crime-ridden environment.

《怪物》（Monster）
A 2023 Japanese psychological dramatic mystery thriller film directed, co-produced, and edited by Hirokazu Kore-eda from a screenplay written by Yuji Sakamoto.[4] It stars Sakura Andō as a mother who confronts a teacher after noticing disturbing changes in her son's behaviour. The film marks the first time Kore-eda has directed a movie he did not write himself since Maborosi (1995).

《我只是個計程車司機》（A Taxi Driver）
A 2017 South Korean historical action-drama film directed by Jang Hoon and written by Eom Yu-na, with Song Kang-ho starring in the lead role alongside Thomas Kretschmann, Yoo Hae-jin, and Ryu Jun-yeol. Based on a real-life story, the film centres on a taxi driver from Seoul who unintentionally becomes involved in the events of the Gwangju Uprising in 1980. It is based on German journalist Jürgen Hinzpeter's interactions with driver Kim Sa-bok; however, as very little information on Kim was known at the time the film was made, most elements regarding his life and the events that happened to him outside of Gwangju are fictional.

《沒有聲音的女人們》（Women Talking）
A 2022 American drama film written and directed by Sarah Polley. Based on the Canadian 2018 novel of the same name by Miriam Toews, itself inspired by the gas-facilitated rapes that occurred at the Manitoba Colony, a remote and isolated Mennonite community in Bolivia, the film follows a group of American Mennonite women who discuss their future, following their discovery of the men's history of raping the colony's women.
《老狐狸》（Old Fox）
A 2023 drama film directed by Hsiao Ya-chuan. The film follows a young boy who befriends his landlord, nicknamed Old Fox and tells the story of Taiwan's rapidly changing society of the late 1980s.
《親愛的陌生人》（All of Us Strangers）
A 2023 British romantic fantasy film written and directed by Andrew Haigh and based on the 1987 novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada. The second feature adaptation of the novel, after the Japanese film The Discarnates (1988), follows a lonely screenwriter who develops an intimate relationship with his mysterious neighbour while revisiting memories from the past.
